Roger Joseph Manning Jr. Talks About Sensory Lullabies: The Ultimate Tribute to Jellyfish

You may know that I recorded a cover of Jellyfish’s “I Wanna Stay Home” for “Sensory Lullabies: The Ultimate Tribute To Jellyfish”. See below for my video.

Here’s a note from the Sensory Lullabies MySpace profile (

We love Roger Manning, and you probably do, too.  We were honored to present Roger with a copy of  “Sensory Lullabies: The Ultimate Tribute to Jellyfish.”  Here is what he had to say about it:

“One of the unforeseen rewards of my years of investment in the world of Jellyfish has been the creation and release of the Sensory Lullabies tribute CD. Of the countless acts of gratitude our dedicated fans have given us over the last 17 years this is easily the grandest compliment. An affirmation that all of our hard work was not in vain and to the contributing artists I am forever grateful. So glad that Alan and Steve have provided a way to share these works of passion with the whole Jellyfish family!”

Here it is! The Ultimate Jellyfish Tribute Album!

[imported from Myspace]

My copy of the Jellyfish Tribute album (“Sensory Lullabies: The Ultimate Tribute To Jellyfish“) arrived in the mail today!

This is a big moment for me – the first ever proper album with me on it!

Up until now the only thing available is my own “Way With Words” CD but,  because I lovingly hand-make the copies myself, it doesn’t quite have that sense of achievement. The personal touch, perhaps, but no feeling of a milestone having been reached.

But “Sensory Lullabies” has a BARCODE! And is actually on a real RECORD LABEL!

I know it’s sad, but I took some photos of the album – here it is, perched on the back of the violin bass which underpins my version of  I Wanna Stay Home
